It's ok. It's only around 3 years late, but we've had a rebrand!
Where to start... firstly by congratulating myself on my first ever blog post. My last designer made a space for me on my old website for a fully content loaded blog, and we agreed to keep it hidden for a few days until I wrote my first introductory post. Well, that was 5 years ago. They do say there's no time like the present, so here we are!
I couldn't be more excited to share this transition with you. Blooming Lovely Films has come a long way since 2011, and I think a little makover was well and truly overdue. Not only have we moved on from a time where mismatched typography was everywhere, but the style and feel of our films have naturally taken a different direction. The world of wedding cinematography is constantly evolving, and for us, the need to tell the story creatively, and with feeling, is what drives us to do what we do. How we film, capture audio and the decisions we make in the edit, has resulted in a fresh new approach to our work and I couldn't be prouder.
Last year we travelled far and wide making memories, and this year is looking even more exciting. Our weddings will take us all over the UK and further including Australia, Las Vegas, Croatia, Paris, Lake Como, California and New York, it's going to be one hell of a journey, but we are ready!
Biggest thank you to our friends Jo Hastings and Chris Barber for the featured photos of us throughout the site, we really are lucky to be surrounded by such talented and generous folk in our industry.
Keep popping back every once in a while, hopefully there will be many more posts to come, not just after this week, but long into the future.
Otherwise, I'll see you in 5 years :)
